• Los Angeles born and Mexico City based Mexican American artist E. Flo has developed a multidisciplinary practice rooted in identity, memory, culture, and belonging. Drawing from the visual language of Mexico, from lucha libre, fútbol, Día de Muertos, agave, architecture, and everyday street life, E. Flo reinterprets familiar symbols through a contemporary lens, using bold color, expressive texture, and energetic mark-making to explore the stories that connect people to place.

Working across painting, murals, installations, and commissioned projects, his practice moves between the personal and the collective, transforming cultural memory into imagery that feels both recognizable and newly imagined. His work has extended beyond the studio into large-scale public and corporate collaborations, while continuing to center the people, traditions, and lived experiences that shape his relationship with Mexico and Mexican American identity.
